I am the runner who loves running! I crave my miles and can’t go more than a few days without getting antsy. Nothing else will give me that rush.
So I’ve always dabbled casually in yoga. Practicing at home a few days a week for flexibility and strength. Despite this, I had been feeling a huge imbalance in my body. So when the opportunity to try Pilates on the reformer presented itself, I jumped on the chance.
It’s something that I had always wanted to try, but never been a fan of either the gym or group classes. I’m completely glad I ventured out of my comfort zone. I was expecting to feel intimidated and uncoordinated in my first class and that never happened. I really enjoyed my first two classes and today I did my first cardio class using the jumpboard on the reformer. So much fun!
With the added benefit that I can go to class after a run…definitely looking forward to spending more time on the reformer!
